“True North” by Photographer Luke Saxon

The photograph juxtaposes a beautiful sunset at the beach with the urban red bricks along a street, similar to how we were asked to find the opposite of a given image. I thought it was pretty powerful for the photographer to have the model stopping in the middle of the walk, gazing at the picture. It demonstrates the amazement people have when finding these little beauties among a city of concrete, and really makes you stop and ponder about the nature of the world when everything surrounding you is man-made.
