Artist Spotlight: Gabrielle Garland

In the theme of “Gestalt Theory”, I found an article focusing on Gabrielle Garland, an artist who creates beautiful abstract paintings of houses. In her paintings, Garland manipulates proportions to redefine the conventional home. This relates to our conversation of gestalt theory in the way Garland groups together certain household objects and reshapes spaces to change the way the perceiver understands her paintings.
