Recent paintings by Molly Greene reminded me of our work this past week in Illustrator. Her delicate shading between tones gives the effect of a gradient across the shapes. Her plant inspired designs are geometric in their contrast between right angles and curvilinear lines, creating a three dimensional, animated illusion. Her style is reminiscent of our own creations in class with the tools we have recently learned to use, as we experimented with the features within the shape and color tools.
