After our discussion on the rule of thirds and the video on photography and composition, I was interested to take a closer look at some photography and analyze it for this technique. Rose Brock’s “Interlude,” in addition to its beautiful soft, dreamy aesthetic, delineates this concept. She tends to emphasize thirds across the horizontal plane, and her portraits align with rules set out in the video. I even spotted some golden spirals in her images!
