How Making Art Helps Your Brain

This article was about the psychological benefits of creating art. These benefits include activating the reward center of the brain, lowering stress, increasing focus, processing emotions, and imaging a more hopeful future. Whenever I create artwork, even if it’s just doodling during class, I’ve noticed that I feel a lot more calm and a lot less stressed. I’ve never really thought about the impact creating artwork has on our brains, so this article was super interesting to read because it made me aware of something I’ve experienced a lot, but never really thought about.
