Lisa Hoke’s unconfined vision

Lisa Hoke’s Lafayette Street studio in New York is filled with art that goes beyond the conventions of rectangular 2D canvases. Her artwork, which often begins with collages of labels or advertisements, are extended using paint, felt, tape, and wire, among other materials, into intriguing and color-rich multi-dimensional pieces. This reminded me of our most recent Data + Object project and how cool it was to bring our patterns onto 3D objects using Adobe Dimension. You can read more about Lisa Hoke’s art on Two Coats of Paint, here.
