Wade Guyton

In looking at GIFs, I was interested in understanding a GIF as sort of a glitch in looking at an image. An artist that takes an interesting stance in understanding images and the power structures involving them is Wade Guyton, who “hacks” printers to infiltrate the pristine printing and free him of the pressures of clarity and perfection. He is able to create a sense of movement in an otherwise still frame, which is similar to how I understand GIFs.
