Comprised of Undulating Bricks, A Facade Allows Light to Stream in Without Sacrificing Privacy

This office building located in Arak, Iran, built by Farhad Mirzaie, is composed of several bricks of various colors and shapes. The careful placement of each brick allows for a unified image to be created and a very interesting facade is established. This idea of using smaller elements and building on top of each element to create a collective pattern, reminded me of our most recent project. Through processing, we coded individual components that were then brought together to form a pattern, much like this building.
